What does the Title IX Office do?

The MU Title IX Office exists to help students, faculty, staff and visitors get the support they need if they experience sex-based discrimination including:
sexual harassment  sexual misconduct  stalking
intimate partner/relationship violence sexual exploitation
unequal opportunities pregnancy discrimination gender identity discrimination

The Title IX Office is now part of the Office for Civil Rights and Title IX. We are coordinating non-discrimination and equity efforts throughout campus. As we get up and running, our primary partners in these efforts are: the Chancellor’s Diversity Initiative, the Title IX Office, the Office of Student Conduct, the Office of Accessibility and ADA Education, MUPD, Human Resources, and the Provost’s Office.
